 I am reaching out to you today to ask for your support for a very worthy cause.  The Jenna Kast Believe in Miracles Foundation is a 501c3 charity that grants wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses in Michigan.  Since 2005, this organization has been providing opportunities for the child and their families to enjoy a gift or experience that allows them to take their minds away from the difficulties and pain that often surround physical disabilities and treatment. To date, JK Believe in Miracles has delivered 375+ wishes to families in Michigan.  Some of the wishes include shopping sprees, celebrity meet and greets, trips to Disney and the Grand Canyon and much more.  Every gift provides a child with a breath of normalcy in a life that is often difficult to live.

 I am asking you to support this foundation with the resources it needs to maintain its mission.   Please sponsor me for the 2021 Golf Marathon fundraiser to benefit JK Believe in Miracles. Art in Bloom Step-by-Step

Never Not Loving You Card (4-1/4" x 5")

CASUAL Embossing Folders give you a fast way to add texture and depth to cardstock, and the process is so easy! Simply enclose your paper inside the folder and run it through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Embossing is relatively inexpensive and adds an extra element of tactile interest to your cards for extra enjoyment!

This embossing folder has a hybrid design that combines two steps into one, and we think you’re going to love it. The coordinating dies fit inside the embossing folder so it can cut and emboss at the same time! Ta da! See them in action here!

To create our casual Art in Bloom Card, emboss a piece of Pool Party Cardstock using the Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder—this time without the dies. Let the embossed cardstock be the centerpiece of this easy-to-make card. Add the label, some die-cut flowers, and a Baker’s Twine bow and you have a card that you can duplicate in multiple colors. Simply switch up the sentiment and use it for almost any occasion!

AVID We stepped up our second card by adding two-step stamping and die-cutting using both the Hybrid Embossing Folder and the Bloom Dies in the Bloom Die Bundle. Such a timesaver and the technique is so clean and easy.

The Magenta Madness and Granny Apple Green inks really pop against the Pool Party Cardstock, don’t you think? A light dusting of Genial Gems completes this card and adds just the right amount of bling.

ARTFULLY AVID Our final card features the emboss resist technique for a painterly look that appears difficult but is in fact quite simple to achieve. Stamp the image in VersaMark ink, add White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and heat emboss. Then, using a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber, apply ink to your image, varying the pressure as you go to create variations in color depth. That’s it! We also added a sunshine-y floral center using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends, then finished with ethereal-looking vellum leaves. Gorgeous!

Stepping It Up: Floating & Fluttering

Whether you’re preparing for a class where you’ll teach friends with varying levels of papercrafting experience, or you just want different options for the same overall design, stepping up is easy and fun.

In fact, it’s a bit like baking. Sometimes you just want an easy boxed sheet cake with frosting, other days you crave a homemade recipe with layers, and for special days you go all out with fresh berries and crème fraiche.

No matter the level, we’ve got something for you to share with your customers—and they’ll love these projects made using the Floating & Fluttering and Sweet Strawberry Stamp Sets.

CASUAL To make the casual card, stamp the butterfly images in Tuxedo Black Memento ink directly on the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, then use the two-step images to add color and depth. Stamp off the ink on a piece of scrap paper to create varying ink tones. Then, die cut a few butterflies and pop them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

AVID Step this card up by adding more color to your butterfly menagerie with Bumblebee ink. Cut a label from Bumblebee Cardstock using the Fluttering Dies, then stamp it with VersaMark ink to create a sophisticated tone-on-tone effect. Finish with an elegant tag made using Basic Black Cardstock and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. (All the butterflies on this card are die cut and adhered using Stampin’ Dimensionals!) The Gilded Gems are the perfect finishing touch.

ARTFULLY AVID Our artfully avid card features distressed edges on the Designer Series Paper layer and embossing on the Bumblebee Cardstock label. Our concept artist colored the butterflies with Watercolor Pencils, and the subtle ink splatter (made using a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker) adds a lovely vintage look.

Step It Up: Flower & Field Designer Series Paper

At Stampin’ Up! we love Sale‑A‑Bration (happening now until 28 February)! Tell your customers that now is the perfect time to shop and earn fantastic Sale‑A‑Bration rewards—like our fresh and colorful Flower & Field Designer Series Paper—when they meet the qualifying purchase threshold.

CASUAL To create our casual card, stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a layer of Basic White Cardstock, then adhere the stamped cardstock to the Mint Macaron card base. Stamp the heart image in Flirty Flamingo ink using the stamp-off technique. Then, punch five banners from our Flower & Field Designer Series Paper using the Banners Pick a Punch. Adhere the banners to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and tie with a Linen Thread bow. Done! You have the perfect, easy card to let someone know you care.

AVID Add a little extra detail to the second card by spritzing with Bumblebee Classic Stampin’ Ink Refill using the Stampin’ Spritzer. Embellish the banners with flowers die cut using the Wreath Builder Dies, and add 2020–2022 In Color Enamel Dots. Die cut the sentiment using the Stitched Rectangles Dies, then finish with a fussy-cut, stamped heart popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Pretty sweet!

ARTFULLY AVID For our artfully avid card, we adhered additional flowers fussy cut from Designer Series Paper, plus some Vellum Cardstock. For an extra-lavish look, we layered on a die-cut heart and a fussy-cut sentiment, then amped up the artistry even more with a lacy edge made using Flower & Field Designer Series Paper and the Budding Blooms Dies.

Stepping up your cards is so much fun! Start simple and go big. Mix and match until you find the look that is right for you. You could even invite friends over to brainstorm avid and artfully avid alternatives for the casual card. We can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon!
